Preproduction Dara

Dara was featured in all promotional materials as an Andalusian Canter pose (Pictured here Never Removed From Box). This mold was never used in production, but was used for prototypes and small run product samples. I initially assumed she never made it out of prototype stage, but when I found this one for sale in 2011, it seems like she was intended for production as her packaging is fully identical to production release first six FashionStar Fillies. I assume they decided to only go with four models because it was cheaper, or it's possible there were issues with this mold that made production difficult.
